Sullair is looking forward to once again attending FarmFest, one of Australia’s most important agricultural industry showcases. Attendees from all over the country converge on Kingsthorpe every year for the big event.
FarmFest has been running for almost 5 decades and has become Queensland’s premier primary industry field day event. It’s the state’s largest and most successful annual commercial agricultural business event and provides manufacturers, contractors, and suppliers the opportunity to show off their gear to a captivated market. Produced by ACM Rural Events, the FarmFest organisers manage to consistently secure high-quality exhibitors that represent new and emerging technologies and innovations. With over 2000 individual companies and organisations taking part, Sullair is once again looking forward to being involved.
The Sullair team will have an outdoor marquee and compressors on site, and some enthusiastic lads from the Brisbane office on hand for show and tell. Brent Marshall is Regional Sales Manager for Queensland. “We’ll be promoting our portable range this year” he explains, “which are typically used for blowing down farm equipment, and headers and coolers on farm machinery.” David Clifton (Sales Engineer Queensland), Blair Pearce (Customer Service Manager Brisbane), and Stuart Duncan (Service Business Consultant Brisbane) will be Sullair’s men on the ground this year and they’re also keen to promote the local service support available out of Brisbane for Toowoomba and the surrounding rural regions.
Highlights of FarmFest this year include the launch of a number of new agri-tech innovations including animal management planning tools, carbon sequestration partnerships, crop scanning and weed mapping technologies, and electric bikes for off road applications such as mustering and property inspections. There’s plenty to keep visitors busy across the three-day event, with live machinery demonstrations, livestock competitions, working dog demonstrations, and petting zoo sessions for the young and young at heart.
“The simple grid pattern of the purpose-built FarmFest site makes it one of the best in Australia for visitors, including special areas for live demonstrations,” says ACM Rural Events general manager Kate Nugent. “Additional activities are planned at Elders FarmFest including the Caterpillar Global Challenge, the Queensland Working Dog demonstrations and a live auction on-site to raise funding for our farmers affected by floods in southeast Queensland and northern NSW.” The live auction will raise funds for Rural Aid in support of their efforts assisting flood affected communities.
For the agricultural professionals, farmers, companies, and organisations that attend, FarmFest is their hot ticket to a significant selection of new products and services. It also presents the chance to learn new things and enjoy networking with key suppliers and industry contacts. The organisers are dedicated to curating a valuable experience for both the rural community and the primary industry.
FarmFest will be held from the 7th – 9th June 2022 at Kingsthorpe Park in Toowomba QLD and more detailed visitor information can be found here. Please come by and say hi to the Sullair team at our outdoor marquee!
